“Sisters”

I saw a quote that reminded me of my growing years, “If your sister is in a tearing hurry to go out and cannot catch your eye, she's wearing your best sweater” ~Pam Brown. I was usually the one wearing the sweater. Being the youngest of the 3 girls in the family, I was always the one trying to imitate my sisters in clothes, hair, mannerisms etc. I would beg them to let me borrow their clothes and have them do my hair early before they went to school. They were always so kind to let me tag along with them and their friends and even boyfriends! I always went to them for advice and wanted to tell them what was going on with me. I guess that things really never change because I still see my sisters as extremely intelligent, capable, gorgeous women and we have fun together chatting about the latest of what is going on. I got to do this shoot of Elisa a while back with the intent of showing others how much fun photo shoots can be when you bring props along that show you and your personality. Aside from being an amazing photographer, Elisa is also a very talented seamstress and is super hip with her hair and clothing. It has been a lot of fun getting this business started with her.
